HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – In August, Orion and Louis Cosce became the first pair of brothers to compete in Dana White’s Contender Series and sign UFC contracts.

Now, Orion Cosce will make his debut at UFC 255. He will face Nicolas Dalby on November 21.

“I told my brother and I three years ago that we would be in the UFC in 2020,” Cosce said.

The Cosce brothers started wrestling when they were kids. Their father introduced them to the sport. Wrestling led to fighting, which has now led them to the UFC. The experience brought Orion and Louis closer together, but it was early life hardships that formed the unbreakable bond.

“We were not gonna let it hold us back was the main thing,” Cosce said. “Our thing was we wanted it to help turn us into stronger, more endured people rather than let it shape us into the negative people that tough past lives have allowed others to shape theirs.”

The Cosce brothers went from playing outside as kids to training together as adults.

“Always just having a good time, doesn’t matter how hard the training session is, we are always pushing each other to be better,” Cosce said.

To earn contracts together made the moment that much sweeter.

“To be able to be there with my brother means everything,” Cosce said. “All those years of hardships, all the hard years of training. All of it is finally paying off and now the beginning of another milestone is about to set in place.”
