75-year-old Berti Welty and 2-year-old hound dog named Kari were hiking the Hiller dog park trail when Kari got loose and ran away.
Berti became lost after searching for her and shortly after called 9-1-1.
Deputies were able to locate Berti, but took some time before Kari was found by Corporal Matt Helm and Deputy Tristin Smith in a 50-foot ravine.
According to Officials, Kari was found in good health and uninjured.
