Mayor holds first annual Christmas contest

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)-The City of Eureka wants to help spread joy and holiday cheer – with the mayor’s First Annual Home for the Holiday’s Decorating Contest. 

All Eureka and greater Eureka area residents are eligible – exceptional and creative decorated homes will be recognized.

Only one entry per household – registration opened Wednesday and continues through December 13, at 5 p.m. sharp.

Voting begins on December 14 through December 23. 

Decorations must be visible from the street – keep in mind addresses of all entries will be included on the Home for the Holiday’s Contest map – which can be viewed by the public.

All Photo Submissions will be published for the public to vote on – the most votes will receive the Mayor’s Award.
