Assault charges filed against woman threatening a business owner with a knife in Orick

ORICK, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies yesterday arrested a woman for threatening a business employee with a knife.

25 year old Amber Marie Roundtree is accused of illegally camping in front of a business on Highway 101.  When the employee asked Roundtree to move along, Roundtree pulled out a knife and threatened to kill him.  She took off on foot before deputies arrived on the scene.  Roundtree was found by State Parks Officers later in the day.

She was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
