HOOPA VALLEY, Calif. (KIEM) – K’ima:w Medical Center will hold their 14th annual Christmas toy give-away on December 17th.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, the event will be a drive-thru event this year, which will be held from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis at the on Highway 96 in Hoopa Valley.
Walking Shield Inc. donated the toys which will be distributed to those who are 18-years-old or younger.
Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles and wear a mask.
A second event will be held as an open air-event – in downtown Hoopa on December 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The toy give-away is open to all children who participate.
