54 residents, 16 staff members have tested positive for Covid-19 at Granada Rehabilitation and Wellness Center

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department released an update on the Covid-19 outbreak at Granada Rehabilitaion and Wellness Center in Eureka.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 54 residents at the facility and 16 staff members have now tested positive for the virus. Health officials say that number may continue to grow. They also say the community at large is not insulated from the Granada outbreak.

We’ve reached out numerous times to get comment from Granada Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. They refuse to talk with Redwood News.
