Trucker parade raises money for the Boys & Girls Club

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Thanks to the Rex and Friends’ Trucker’s Christmas Parade,  $30,000 dollars is being donated to the Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods.

Even with threatening rain and a pandemic, participation in the parade was up- and the number of spectators was in the thousands.

The money came from parade sponsors and officials with the Boys & Girls Club say the money will be used for extended hours programs so that kid sare able do their school work over the internet at their club locations.
