Another Covid-19 death, 18 new cases reported in Humboldt County Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms an 80-year-old resident who tested positive for Covid-19 has died.

There were also 18 new cases of the virus were reported today. The total case count is now 1,928 with health officials monitoring 737 active cases.

There are 7 people hospitalized in the county, and 2 are in the ICU. The northern California region’s ICU capacity is 29.8%. The region remains the only one not under a regional stay at home order. The number of recoveries remains unchanged.
