Humboldt Sponsors grant application cycle is now open

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM)- Humboldt Sponsors 2021 grant application cycle is now open.

The grants are exclusively to help non-profit groups that serve local youth.

The applications must be submitted by February 16th and the funding decision will be completed on March 31st.

Humboldt Sponsors says that it has been tough this year to get funding for these grants because of the pandemic, but they are happy to be able to still provide grants to help youth-oriented programs and organizations.

“Last year we did 78 grants and that totaled $111,454,” said Kim Cobine, the grant committee co-chair for Humboldt Sponsors. “I’m not sure that we will be able to do quite that many this year, but we will make every attempt to provide the services that Humboldt County youth desperately need.”
