Woman gets arrested for false imprisonment

WILLOW CREEK, Calif. (KIEM)- Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies arrest a woman in Willow Creek on charges of false imprisonment.

On Saturday deputies were dispatched to the 1900 block of Patterson Road.  That’s where forty-five year old Tammi Jane Downs locked a sixty year old victim in a trailer using a metal metal pipe to prop the door shut. Downs also told the victim she was going to set the trailer on fire.

Deputies later learned that a verbal altercation led to the imprisonment of the victim.

Downs was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of false imprisonment.
