28 new Covid-19 cases, 141 more recoveries reported Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department has confirmed 28 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday. The total case count is 2,652. Health officials are monitoring 312 active cases.

One new hospitalization was reported by the County. There are 12 people currently in the hospital, and 5 are in the ICU. The County is tracking 194 chains of transmission and several small outbreaks. Many are related to gatherings, which are still strong discouraged by the state and local health officials.
