Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Local Business Award Winners

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce held their annual dinner event on Wednesday and announced the Business Award Winners. Due to the pandemic, this year’s dinner was held virtually.

Scrapper’s Edge received the customer service award for demonstrating commitment to making its customers feel welcome.

The Eureka Small Business Award was given to Just My Type Letterpress & Paperie.

The Eureka Large Business of the Year Award was received by Recology Humboldt for providing reliable and responsiveness to changing demands of covid-19.

Six Rivers Brewery received the Extraordinary Business of the Year for 2020.

The 2020 Positive Community Impact Award was awarded to USVetsDeliver.

Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods received the Community Impact Award for Non-profit and Government.

The two recipients for the 2020 Leadership Impact Award was given to Executive Director of the Redwood Region Economic Development Commission, Gregg Foster and Executive Director of the North Coast Small Business Development Center, Leila Roberts.

And last but not least, the 2020 Ambassador of the Year Award was awarded to Jerry and Becky Reece of Cruise Planners.

According the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce, the dinner and membership meeting is held annually to provide an opportunity for local businesses to celebrate their collective investment in the local community.
