HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 53 new cases of Covid-19 Thursday. The total case count is now 2,725. Health officials are monitoring 298 active cases.

Two more hospitalizations were reported by the County. There are 12 people currently in the hospital, and 2 are in the ICU. Northern California’s ICU capacity remains unchanged for Thursday. The most common transmission type remains contact with a known case.
