Bus service to Klamath canceled tomorrow

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) —Bus services to Klamath tomorrow has been canceled, according to Del Norte County Unified School District.

The cancellation is due to the slide activity at Last Chance Grade that has increased due to the current storm.

Distance learning will take place for all Margaret Keating School, Crescent Elk, Del Norte High, and Sunset students who live south of Last Chance Grade.

Margaret Keating School encourages parents to reach out if your child needs a space to access internet tomorrow.

Food services will be available at Margaret Keating tomorrow and can be picked up curbside.

“Again, we understand the inconvenience that this situation imposes on our students and their families, but we want to be proactive regarding the safety of our students and staff. Families will be notified of any changes to these plans as soon as possible,” DNUSD said.
