Man arrested in connection to a gas station robbery in Eureka

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) — A man was arrested this morning in connection to a gas station robbery in Eureka.

27- year-old Dylan Anderson was arrested after Eureka Police responded to a report of an attempted robbery at the 1000 block of Broadway.

According to the Eureka Police Department, the employee said Dylan Anderson entered the store claiming to have a firearm and demanded money.

The employee further stated that he hit Anderson causing him to fall to the ground in an attempt to stop the robbery.

He able to escape the scene, but later was detained a few blocks away with the help of several witnesses.

Anderson was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for robbery and resisting arrest.
