Search for suspect continues in carjacking investigation

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a carjacking incident that happened on Friday.

At about 6 in the evening, a woman was stopped at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Mitchell Road.

That’s when the suspect approached the woman and ordered her to get out of the car.

The suspect then took off in the car Westbound on Myrtle Avenue.
