Lines and waiting time have slowly gone down at KFC in Eureka

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- It has been a couple of weeks since the grand opening of the KFC in Eureka and the long lines for the drive-thru have been slowly dying down.

The grand opening brought a lot of hype, which brought a long line of cars along Broadway.

Orange cones were placed down the street to control the flow of traffic going in and out of the parking lot.

“The wait time for the first day was two and a half hours, now at most we are down to about 45 minutes,” said Duane Hoard, the General Manager for KFC. “Keeping that traffic flow on Broadway is really important to us. So, we are doing everything we can to get you guys in and out of here as fast as we can.”
