EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – On Friday, Redwood Acres Raceway announced that racing will return for a 2021 season starting May 1.
For the first time since 2019, fans will be allowed to watch from the grandstands. As the county is currently in the red tier, 800 fans will be allowed on the grounds. Should the county drop to the orange tier, capacity will be increased to 1,300 fans.
Tickets for the season opener are set to go on sale starting April 23 at noon. They will be available for purchase at RacinTheAcres.com for 10 dollars. There will be a maximum of four tickets per person. The entire 2021 schedule will be released later this week. In the meantime, there will be a test and tune for race teams on April 17.
