35 new Covid-19 cases, 12 more recoveries reported in Humboldt County since Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department has reported 35 new cases of Covid-19 since Friday. The total case count is now 3,553. Health officials are tracking 74 active cases throughout the County.

In the last week, 11 more cases were reported in northern Humboldt, 37 more in the greater Humboldt Bay area, and four more cases in southern Humboldt. The biggest weekly increase has been among 20 year olds with 16 new cases reported followed by the 30 year old age group with 12 new cases in the last week.

No new hospitalizations were reported. Twelve more recoveries were also counted over the weekend bringing that total number to 3,443.
