Sixteen new Covid-19 cases, seven more recoveries reported in Humboldt County Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department has reported 16 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday.

Two previous cases were removed. One was found to be a duplicate and another was from out of the County. The total case count has risen to 3,799. Health officials are tracking 174 active cases. Seven more recoveries were also reported bringing that number to 3,587.

The County also announced the first case of the B.1.1.7 variant, also known as the U.K. variant, has been identified in Humboldt County.
