Eureka man arrested for hit-and-run, vehicle versus pedestrian collision

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) — A Eureka man is arrested after hitting a pedestrian with his car then fleeing the scene Thursday afternoon.

58-year-old Alan Lee Ladd was taken into custody after Eureka Police officers responded to the intersection of Buhne and H Streets for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. The pedestrian sustained moderate injuries and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital. Ladd was not on scene when police arrived.
