Mattole Road construction starts Monday, expect delays until August

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM)- Beginning Monday motorists between Honeydew and Petrolia should expect traffic delays.

The Humboldt County Department of Public Works will start working on repairs to Mattole Road at Post Mile 6.50 between Honeydew and Petrolia.

Traffic through the construction zone will be down to one-lane, with traffic controls in place until the work is complete.

The project is expected to be wrap-up in August of this year.
