Police searching for attempted murder suspect

CRESCENT CITY, Ca. (KIEM) – Crescent City Police in are looking for a suspect who could be facing attempted murder charges.

29 old, Skyler Stewart is accused of attacking a woman while she was sleeping, threatening to kill her, and then, lighting her blanket on fire with a hand-held torch.

Stewart also took off with the victim’s cell phone so she couldn’t call 9-1-1 immediately.
