BLUE OX MILLWORKS FEATURED IN T.V. SERIES

Eric Hollenbeck

Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Network is producing a national television series right here in Eureka.

Local Master Craftsman Eric Hollenbeck, is the subject of the series. The show producers discovered Hollenbeck by his reputation and restoration of a local trolley. They’ve already shot the pilot episode to feature it. Hollenbeck’s Blue Ox Millworks in Eureka is responsible for helping to restore so many historic homes across the country. He’s also well known for sharing his techniques with young artisans so they can make a good living from the woodworking trade. Hollenbeck’s extensive shop has recreated custom moldings and woodwork for many Victorians here on the North Coast, including the Carson Mansion.

The show will be called “The Craftsman” and is already slated for nine, half-hour episodes.
