Food for People Drive-Thru Giveaway

Food for People’s latest food giveaway for Humboldt County residents in need is happening today. The food bank’s winter drive-thru food distribution is set to take place today at the Bayshore Mall. It will happen in the mall’s north parking lot from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. You’ll be able to stock up on non-perishable food items and fresh produce. The food bank asks that you wear a mask and stay in your car as volunteers will load the food into your vehicle. Organizers say the resurgence of covid-19 has increased the need for the food bank’s services.
