High School Basketball Game Outcomes

Starting with the girl’s basketball. The loggers are at the top of the Big 5 with a 7 and 1 conference record 18 and 8 overall. They are followed by Arcata in second and Fortuna in third. In the little four, Ferndale is on fire. They also have the best conference and overall record. 5 and zero and 14 and 2 respectively. Hoopa Valley and Saint Bernards round out the top 3. 

 At last night’s game, in the big 5, The Loggers beat the Panthers 40 to 35. Meanwhile Arcata defeats Del Norte 51 to 44. The Huskies are the last team from the conference in action facing South Fork and winning 57 to 32. 

 In little four action, The Crusaders handle the Warriors 73 to 59.  

 The boy’s basketball turnout was Arcata tied with Del Norte at the top of the conference. They share a 5 and 1 record in the Big 5. Arcata has the better overall record of 19 and 3, meanwhile McKinleyville closes out the top three. 

 In the little four, South Fork is sitting in first at 4 and 1. In second it’s the Crusaders who actually have the better overall record of 15 and 6. After that, it is Hoopa Valley at 1 and 2. We will continue to keep you posted on the latest from the high school level right here on Redwood News.
