Proposed Earth Center Development

Eureka City Council is moving ahead on a plan that would convert multiple city-owned properties into more affordable housing. Among those properties are two parking lots on 3^rd Street that would be developed into a proposed earth center. The Earth Center would be a large transit center surrounded by housing units. City Council voted unanimously last night to move forward and will hold a special meeting next Wednesday at 6 pm in council chambers to get public input on next steps.
