Bay Trail Easement

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) The plans for a Humboldt Bay Trail expansion are getting closer to becoming a reality. Humboldt County announced on the afternoon of February 16, 2022, that it has acquired an easement through the Brainard Mill Site. That is the last big right-of-way obstacle to the Eureka-Arcata trail along highway 101 corridor. The bay trail will be extended over four miles with a portion of it on the levy surrounding the Brainard Mill Site.
