PG&E HELICOPTER INSPECTIONS

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) The utility company will have helicopters in the air conducting inspections. Starting today, April 12, 2022. Crews will be surveying power lines in Humboldt County along with Lake and Mendocino Counties. 

PG&E says the helicopters will fly as low as one-hundred feet along electric distribution lines. 

The patrols will report hazards or damage they discover.
