KILLER GETS LIFE IN PRISON

RIO DELL, Calif. (KIEM) A judge on the afternoon of April 19, 2022, sentenced 41-year-old Demitrius Coleman to life in prison with no possibility of parole. Coleman was found guilty of the deadly drive-by shooting of 26-year-old Johnny Renfro in August of 2019 in a drug dispute. Despite Coleman’s claims that someone else killed Renfro, the judge today also denied his request for a new trial.
