For the rest of our Monday, we will have cloudy conditions sticking around the North Coast region. Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to move into Siskiyou county later in the evening, which will prompt a flash flood watch for the western half of Siskiyou county until 8 pm tonight. Some coastal cities can expect patchy fog and mist. Temperatures will drop to the 50s and 60s for the region. For our Tuesday, we will have cloudy skies for the morning, then more sunshine for the afternoon hours, but will still be obscured from the smoke. Winds will be a slight breeze, mostly from a northern direction around five to ten miles per hour. Highs will be in the 60s through 90s. More showers and storms could pop up around the region, but will stay more inland. Heading into Thursday, we will have an increase in temperatures, reaching the upper 60s to upper 90s in the viewing area, but then cooling down by the upcoming weekend. A mix of sun and clouds can be expected, but most of the skies in the North Coast will continue to be covered with a layer of smoke. Temperatures will be down to the low 60s to mid 80s by the first half of next week as well.
