BODY FOUND IN BAY: Coroner's Office Investigating
Eureka, CA- The Humboldt County Coroner's Office reports that around the time of 8 Friday morning the body of a white male adult was pulled from Humboldt Bay. The coroner's office says he was found floating by local fishing boat and was pulled to samoa/humboldt side of bay. The male had no ID on his person. The Coroner says he is in his 60's, 5'11", 150 pounds, with grey hair and several days beard, wearing several layers of clothing that the coroner says is consistent with homeless or transient attire. The Coroner says there is no indication of foul play, but he did have small lacerations on top of his head. The Coroner says it appears the body's time in water is no more than 24 hours.
