Name of man who crashed into power pole in Eureka released
EUREKA- The name of the motorist who crashed into a power pole in Eureka and sustained life threatening injuries has been released.
Officials with the Eureka Police Department confirm 67-year-old James Smith of Eureka was the driver of the pickup truck that crashed into a power pole Hodgson Street on Monday. Police say it appears Smith suffered a medical issue that caused him to crash, and they are not sure if Smith sustained any injuries from the collision with the power pole. Authorities are not able to provide Smith’s condition at this time, and News Channel 3 will have more updates as they become available.
