ARCATA – A child’s safety is important, not just to parents, but everyone else looking over them during the day. This week California Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to stop for school buses during national school bus safety week. This is to limit the instances of potential accidents from occurring, accidents that could well leave people with serious injuries. If you have been a victim of an incident of this nature, have sought medical attention but are not sure what to do next, it may be in your best interest to get in touch with a bus accident attorney, as they can help you take this further in getting the compensation you deserve. Plus, they may be able to give you some advice that’ll help you get your life back on track.

This year’s theme is ‘Stop on Red’, motorists who do not stop for the flashing red lights and crossing arm of a school bus put students and drivers in danger. CHP says taking the bus is by far the safest way for children to get to and from school, but that safety is no accident and everyone contributes to keeping the kids safe. If your child or someone you know has been involved with a bus accident and you’re wanting legal protection you may want to look into Californian based law firms such as GJEL based at 220 Montgomery St 2100, San Francisco, CA 94105.

CHP works closely with California schools to educate motorists, students, and parents, on ways to stay safe.
