Decision on future of HSU Athletics could be put on hold again

ARCATA- A decision on the future of Humboldt State football could be on hold once again.

HSU president Lisa Rossbacher is out of the area this week to be with family after the passing of her mom.

It was announced earlier in the month that a decision would be made on Friday, December 1.

According to the Save Humboldt Athletics group, they’ve gone over the $500,000 total needed at $512,000. But in a memo sent to Rossbacher, HSU vice president for advancement Craig Wruck stated only $300,000 was verified.

The Save HSU Athletics group doesn’t agree with that total. Instead, they are thankful for the support and know more work still needs to be done.
