CR football prepares for 2018 season

EUREKA- College of the Redwoods football is back on the practice field. Head coach Frank Borba begins his fourth season in charge of the program.

Borba and his coaching staff welcomed 70 players to training camp Monday night.

The Pacific 7 opener is September 22 against Contra Costa. That game along with the season opener on September 1, was moved to Humboldt State’s Redwood Bowl. Swallows nesting has put a halt on the deconstruction of the community stadium stands.

CR looks to improve on last year’s 2-8 campaign.
