EUREKA – At least one woman was transported to the hospital after two vehicles collided in South Eureka.
Just before 10:00 Monday morning a silver Chevy Trailblazer was turning left into a tire shop on the 4100 block of Broadway.
Police say a black Dodge Dart traveling northbound struck the right rear end of the Chevy. It came to rest in the parking lot while the Dodge continued a short distance into the turn lane.
The female driver of the Dart was conscious when she was transported to the hospital. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
A juvenile passenger in the Dodge and the other driver were uninjured.
Southbound Broadway was reduced to one lane for a little less than an hour while crews cleared debris. Eureka Police are investigating.
