EUREKA – A Eureka woman’s surveillance camera footage exposes a burglar in progress and helps Eureka police in making an arrest.

Police met with the victim Sunday and she explained while reviewing her surveillance footage, she found some from a week ago of a man that she knew, uninvited in her home.

She only knew his first name ‘Harry’, and she says she has video evidence of him doing drugs in her living room and believes he may have stolen a firearm from her residence.

Police took the report and later that day the victim drove past Harry near California and West Harris Street.

Just before 4PM, officers located the suspect, 35-year-old Harry Francis Nuneviller, at Fairfield and West Henderson Street.

The victim then came and positively identified Harry Nuneviller as the same ‘Harry’ caught on camera.

He was booked into the Humboldt County Jail on charges of burglary and probation violation.

His bail is set at $75,000.
