Northern California Community Blood Bank holds holiday open house

EUREKA – The Northern California Community Blood Bank holds a holiday open house, and they have a need for a certain type of blood.

Especially this time of year, the blood bank wants to encourage the public to donate blood. So today, staff gave tours of the blood bank facility. Along with that, they had treats and goodies for visitors.

Staff says they are currently low on O positive and negative blood, due to having to send blood to Crescent City recently.

To donate, just head on over to the Northern California Community Blood Banks’ location in Eureka, on Harrison Avenue.
