Two Marijuana Enforcement Warrants served in Bayside and McKinleyville

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)- Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served two marijuana enforcement warrants in Bayside and McKinleyville areas.

Deputies served the two search warrants to investigate illegal cannabis cultivation.

Two parcels were investigated during the service of the warrants. They were permitted by the county and did not possess a state license to cultivate cannabis commercially.

In Bayside, deputies located a large two-story structure with multiple rooms growing cannabis inside and found approximately four-hundred and seventy-seven cannabis plants.

In McKinleyville, deputies located two greenhouses with growing cannabis and found three-hundred and seventy-eight cannabis plants.

No arrests were made, and the case is being forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review. Arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues.
