Marijuana Search Warrant in Brannan Mountain Area

BRANNAN MOUNTAIN (KIEM)– Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant investigating an illegal cannabis cultivation in the Brannan Mountain Area.

During the investigation Wednesday, MET deputies eradicated approximately 2-thousand 5-hundred and forty cannabis plants.

Multiple water board, county code, and fish and wildlife violations were observed including water diversion, and water pollution.

The property was not permitted to cultivate cannabis.

Suspects were identified and charges are being sent to the DA’s office.
