MCSD General Manager Announces Retirement

MCKINLEYVILLE (KIEM)– After nearly 30 years of working at the McKinleyville Community Service District, the general manager has announced his retirement.

Greg Orsini gave his notice of retirement during the board of directors meeting on Wednesday.

Orsini has been with MCSD for 29 years and believes it’s time for him to live a different part of his life. He’s looking forward to sitting and taking a breath.

The next steps for MCSD are to fill Orsini’s position. He will be a part of the hiring process, but they still need to figure the technical elements involved with the interviewing selection.

Orsini is hopeful MCSD will prevail even after he is gone.
