Alder Conservation Camp inmate still on the run

KLAMATH, Ca (KIEM)-An Alder Camp inmate scheduled for parole in June remains on the run.

Authorities are searching for 30 year-old Lester Jackson who walked away early Tuesday morning from the Alder Conservation Camp in Klamath.

Jackson, who was assigned as a firefighter, was serving 12 years for second-degree robbery, false imprisonment and carjacking.

He has a tattoo on his outer right forearm that says “grimy” and another on his inner right forearm with a picture of a prison tower and a lit candle below it.

Jackson was last seen wearing grey sweat pants.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
