Hoopa’s Food Box Event requests an additional 400 boxes

HOOPA VALLEY, Ca – The Hoopa Valley Tribe’s first Food Box Event day was a quick one.

The event lasted 45 minutes as all locations ran out of supplies.

Hoopa Valley has decided to hold the remainder of the food box event at one location only, the Hoopa Fire Station.

Distributors announced that the remainder of the May food boxes were collected today, resulting in tomorrow’s event to be cancelled.

With the quick April distribution, an additional 400 food boxes are being requested for the May event which will start on the 26^th at 12 p.m.
