Bear River Casino and Resort set to re-open May 24

LOLETA, Ca (KIEM)-A North Coast casino is getting ready to re-open its doors.

Bear River Casino and Resort is set to open again on Sunday, May 24. The facility has been closed since March 17 due to COVID-19. Since then, the casino has installed new safety features for the health and safety of guests, employees and tribal members.

New hours will include 9AM to 5AM, operating at 30 percent maximum capacity and smoking is prohibited. Food and beverage offerings and amenities may be closed initially. To allow social distancing, every other slot machine will be turned off and table games will have a limited number of players.

The hotel will remain closed as the property will reopen in phases.
