Local church group host first trunk-or-treat event

MCKINLEYVILLE , Calif. (KIEM)-McKinleyville residents who might be looking for a local Halloween activity to do with their family, the United Methodist Church of the Joyful Healer has got you covered.

The church will host its first trunk-or-treat event on the day of Halloween from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The goal is to make the event as socially distanced among community members as possible, and masks are required.

Families will have the option to walk or drive through to trick-or treat.
