HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 4 new cases of Covid-19 Wednesday. The total case count has risen to 699 with health officials monitoring 72 active cases.
As far as means of transmission, 413 people got the virus through contact with a known person, 163 are travel related, and 90 a result of community transmission. There are 33 cases still being investigated.
Two more recoveries were reported too, bringing that total number to 618.
