The Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce hosts its first virtual art auction

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- The Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce has partnered up with 32 local artists to host an online art auction.

Many artists have been hit hard this year by the COVID-19 pandemic and have not had the same venues to showcase and sell their artwork.

So, the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce decided to help the local artist by holding their first online art auction called ArtBiz.

“We are so excited that 32 local, up-coming and well-known artists decided to participate to be able to expose them here in Humboldt County,” said Donna Wright, CEO of the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce. “A portion of the money will come back to the chamber as a fundraiser.”
