Thousands of dollars were raised for the local youth thanks to HCSO

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office raised $2,910 for the local youth.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office participated in No Shave November. Staff and Deputies were given the opportunity to opt out of the dress code by growing their facial hair or dying their hair and nails blue for a donation of $30.

No Shave November is traditionally a fundraiser for Men’s Health, but the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office have chosen to raise money for the local kids.

The money was split between Court Appointed Special Advocates and Wild Soul’s Ranch. Both of these programs provide support and programming for local youth.
