HSU partners with Arcata to provide a new bike share program

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM)- The City of Arcata has partnered with Humboldt State University to offer a new humboldt bike share program for the community.

The city and HSU had previously teamed up with Zagster for Arcata’s bike share program but the company stopped operating in June 2020 because of the pandemic.

So, the new bike share program will be operated by Tandem Mobility.

Four bike stations have been placed in Arcata, two can be found on the plaza on the corner of 9th and G streets and on the corner of G and 8th streets outside of Café Brio.

The two other station will be on the HSU campus.
